Founder
With 15 years of experience in marketing and communications, I specialize in helping brands within the high-end home furnishings and interior design industries grow strategically and sustainably. As the founder of Strata Marketing Studio (previously Samantha Cuello Consulting), I serve as a fractional Chief Marketing Officer, guiding design-driven companies that need senior-level expertise without the commitment of a full-time hire.
Since launching my consultancy, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with some of the industry’s most respected names—developing and executing marketing strategies that drive visibility, engagement, and sales. My approach blends creative storytelling with analytical rigor, ensuring every initiative is both inspired and effective.
My career spans the full spectrum of marketing—from digital campaigns and social strategy to brand positioning and experiential events. I’m equally comfortable leading a team or rolling up my sleeves to get the work done.
Before founding my firm, I held senior marketing roles at Business of Home, The Shade Store, Semihandmade, and Calico Wallpaper.
I hold a B.A. in Journalism from SUNY Purchase and an M.A. in Integrated Marketing & Communications from Marist College.
Based just north of New York City in Beacon, NY, I live with my husband, our three children, and our rescue pup.

Hi there! I’m Demery, a marketing strategist and creative consultant who has supported firms in the architecture and interior design world for the past eight years. My work spans brand strategy, creating and executing proposals, business development, and guiding the digital presence of design-focused businesses across all channels.
In parallel, growing Strata, a marketing studio dedicated to helping interior designers, creative brands, and interior product studios amplify their voice through tailored strategy, content, and brand activation has been a joy.
With a collegiate background in business marketing and extensive experience in the luxury design space, I bring a blend of analytical thinking and creative storytelling to every project.
My work includes creating digital marketing campaigns, developing websites, leading PR initiatives, planning events, optimizing SEO, and producing the finished content—all rooted in a layered, thoughtful approach to marketing that helps brands grow with intention and impact.
Originally from the Hudson Valley, I’ve always had a deep appreciation for all things beautiful. I love hosting dinner parties with decadent, lavish tablescapes designed for lingering evenings and long conversations. I now live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband, Nick, and our chubby orange tabby cat, Russell. If you see me in the neighborhood or at the local BK run club, say hello!

I’m originally from Miami, where growing up around bold architecture and diverse cultural influences sparked my interest in art and design. That foundation led me to New York City, where I pursued my BFA in Fine Art Painting at Pratt Institute.
My career has taken me from New York to Los Angeles, working alongside designers, artists, and creative teams on projects that required meticulous attention, clear coordination, and a steady hand. Along the way, I found that I’m at my best supporting the process behind the scenes by organizing details, streamlining workflows, and helping teams stay focused and effective.
Now based in Beacon with my husband and son, I bring my creative background and a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to my role at Strata Marketing Studio.
